Christoph Byland has been admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Zurich and , therefore, he is authorized to represent clients’ interests before all courts and in extrajudicial matters throughout Switzerland in accordance with the Federal Act on the Freedom to Practise in Switzerland (BGFA).

His activities in his capacity as an attorney at law come under the supervision of the Supervisory Committee for Attorneys at Law of the Canton of Zurich according to the Ordinance of the Court of Appeal of the Canton of Zurich on Attorneys at Law dated December 15, 2004. In addition to the BGFA and the Act of the Canton of Zurich on Attorneys at Law (Anwaltsgesetz), these regulations govern the organization and the management of the Supervisory Committee for Attorneys at Law of the Canton of Zurich.
